Amazing animation from Stephen Neary.

I had a coffee brewed with a Clover today at my neighborhood Starbucks. I must say, it was rather good! It tastes a lot like French Press coffee, but more smooth and without the gritty particulates. The machine behaves similarly to a press, but instead of pressing it uses a suction to extract the water.

Just installed a great plugin called Instagrate. It automatically posts Instagram pics to my blog, making it easier for me to keep content fresh. You can see all of my Instagram posts here.

UPDATE: Instagram is not as cool as I thought.

Awesome blend of CGI and real world footage. I wish I had the time to learn 3D. Perhaps this will be my New Year’s resolution since “read more” isn’t really working out. I did get half-way through a book, though.

Today I learned that Apple put out a cassette of tunes in 1987. Was it used as marketing? Was it an employee Christmas gift? Did it actually cost money? Whatever it was used for, it is eight glorious tracks of pure 80′s nostalgic cheese. Mmmmmm, nostalgic cheese. The sound effect at the end of “Apple II Boogie” is not to be missed.

Interesting slice of life.

Just some tunes I made sitting out on my back porch with Garage Band for iPhone. What an amazing application! Some things are lacking, namely the ability to store volume, filter and instrument attributes as you record. It could also use an “Undo” button. Still, I’m blown away at how robust the built-in instruments are. It’ll only get better as updates are released. Thanks, Apple!
